- 1 kg pork neck bones
- 1.5 liters water
- 500 g potatoes, peeled and quartered
- 200 g napa cabbage, chopped
- 2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean red chili paste)
- 2 tablespoons doenjang (Korean soybean paste)
- 1 tablespoon gochugaru (Korean red chili flakes)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, quartered
- 3 spring onions, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Rinse pork bones under cold water. Soak in fresh water for 30 minutes to remove blood.
- In a large pot, bring 1.5 liters of water to a boil. Add the soaked bones and boil for 10 minutes. Drain and rinse the bones under cold water.
- Return the bones to the pot. Add 1.5 liters of fresh water, onion, and garlic. Simmer covered for 1 hour.
